Jeremiah 31: 3 The Message, “God told them, ‘I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!” The King James says,“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” You look everywhere for love, but it’s impossible to find it without God. Since He is love, He is the only source of it. He is the only true example of it. He has gone to great lengths to help you understand how He feels about you. The “uni-verse” is one song playing over and over until you hear it. Ephesians 2: 10 says you are his “poem”. He has even left you love notes.
It’s easy to look for love in all the wrong places–especially if you don’t understand God’s love. We start the Love Notes Series learning about God’s passionate love for us.
This week, we examine our response to God’s love and the command to love God with all of your heart, soul, and mind. We take a turn that will really help you.
We finish how we are to love God, and we go on to help you recognize and overcome self hatred. If you’re going to love others, you have to start with yourself.
We couldn’t do a series on love and not talk about 1 Corinthians 13. We end with a discussion of how to love others with evidence and answers from the word of God for solving relationship problems.
