In John 14: 12, 16 New King James Version, Jesus said, “…he who believes in me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do…I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper…” The God At Work series focuses on the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, and how he provides the power, the revelation, and the direction for fulfilling your life’s work in the earth.

God At Work, Part 1
This series is about The Work of the Holy Spirit in Our Work. Our purpose is to: 1) define the role of the Holy Spirit, 2) highlight how He works, 3) explore the Book of Acts, 4) review the works of the apostles, and 5) help you identify your work. In this first class, we begin with the timeline of Jesus appearing to the disciples after His resurrection, why He had to leave, and His instructions to them regarding the Holy Spirit. We then define the seven roles of the Holy Spirit and begin the discussion of How He Works with examples from the scriptures. Much of our study comes from the book of Acts.
God At Work, Part 2
We continue the God At Work series to discuss The Work of the Holy Spirit in Your Work. In it, we remind you that we are not simply sharing Bible stories and introducing you to a fictional character. Instead, please realize that when we read about the promise of the Holy Spirit, we are talking about the promise that was made to you. When we speak of the fact that Jesus instructed the disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit, we’re telling about an experience that is available to you today. When the disciples were baptized with the Holy Spirit and the power to be witnesses, know that you can receive the same thing now by asking for it. Ultimately, the point of it all is to help you understand that the Holy Spirit was sent so you can discover, embrace, and complete the work you have been called to do according the eternal plan of God.
Last week, we covered The Role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, for Jesus and for the world, and we started on How He Works. In this class, we reviewed the roles and defined what they mean to us and finished up How He Works.
God At Work, Part 3
In this week’s God At Work series we cover The Work of the Holy Spirit in Your Work by going over the works of the apostles in the book of Acts. We uncover a recurring theme of the Holy Spirit being poured out, the apostles doing signs and wonders, people believing and the church growing, the Holy Spirit refilling the believers, and the church being strengthened.
The result was unity, power, forgiveness, joy, order and confidence brought by the presence of the Holy Spirit working in the lives of the apostles and everyone who heard them and accepted the message of Jesus Christ. So, we see clear examples of how the Holy Spirit was sent to do a job. His work is to help us do our work, to fulfill our assignment from the Father as the apostles did.
God At Work, Part 4
In this week’s God At Work series we finish with the work you have been called to do. Our goal is to help you identify the work you have been given and inspire you to go after it. We take you through John 14: 12 & 16 to reveal Jesus’ example of how we are supposed to operate. You have received an impartation that has been incubating until the time of manifestation.
In short, God had a plan before you were placed in your mother’s womb, and the Holy Spirit is with you to guide you into it.
